Christopher Columbus is sometimes credited with “discovering” America. Columbus wasn’t the first European to reach the Americas as Leif Ericsson of the Vikings had already visited. However, it was Columbus’ journey and discovery that led to the European colonization of the Americas.
The Portuguese, Spanish, French, English, and Dutch all sent more explorers and settlers following Columbus’ return telling about the riches of this new land.
Columbus first landed in the Americas on October 12, 1492 and the anniversary of the day has been celebrated in the new world ever since. The 300 and 400 year anniversaries in 1792 and 1892 were big events in the United States, but it wasn’t until 1937 that the day was made an official federal holiday. Originally the holiday was on October 12, but was changed to the second Monday of October in 1971.

We welcome our newest property – Terraces of Brompton
Our newest (and largest property) – Terraces of Brompton. We absolutely love it’s location, plus the rental rates are a steal giving where it’s at! The property itself is beautiful. It’s gated, well landscaped, and has great amenities like a 24/7 gym, two pools, a community center, and a staffed leasing office.
Come by and check it out. And while you’re there, why not lease an apartment?
Their office is open M-F, 9-5:3-0 and Saturday 10-2. Address is 7315 Brompton. Phone number is 713-665-1571
Don’t worry – you’re safe
While our site never had SSL (encrypted communication between you and a site), this was never much of an issue as most of the pages on our site do not ask for any information or transmit personal between your browser and our servers. The exception would be our tenant portal and application page. However, those two pages are actually connections between your web browser and our property management system which IS secure.
So even though the only two pages that have data transmitted were secure already, we decided to go ahead and upgrade our site to have SSL functionality. What does this mean for you? Well, now rather than having a “unlocked” padlock on the top left of your browser, you get a nice little ‘locked’ icon.
Cool eh? 🙂

Stop searching. We’re right here.
Google gives us summaries of how many times our properties are found, and how. Even during covid (or is that over now?), we’re seeing huge increases in search for our property type.
If you’re looking to move into a place — stop searching, and start calling 832-640-4444 The FP team will get you into one of our properties quickly and easily.
(And if you really want this property below, we have some more info here. But it’s always best just to call to help make the next move
Behind the scenes: The # of people looking for apartments is WAY up
We don’t share data as much as we should, or we’d like. I’m a data nerd. I love capturing data, looking at it, seeing trends, and trying to use that data to help the experience of not just our residents, but people looking to become residents. If I could roll around in data — ‘indecent proposal’ style — I would 🙂
